I’m an occupational therapist who is passionate about meeting people where they’re at and supporting them in achieving meaningful, individualized goals. My interest in occupational therapy began years ago after watching a close friend recover from a stroke. Seeing the powerful impact an occupational therapist had on his life solidified my desire to pursue this profession.
At the core of my practice is making sure you feel heard, seen, and actively involved in your care. I integrate evidence based research into every session and I proudly consider myself a bit of a nerd. I really value collaboration. You can expect open conversations about what’s working, what’s not, and how we can tailor treatment to best meet your needs. I also welcome feedback, as it helps shape our sessions and ensures we are making meaningful progress.
I’m especially passionate about working with chronic pain, concussions and brain injury, and first responders navigating heightened stress and triggers. I’m committed to developing practical, sustainable strategies that support both recovery and long-term wellbeing.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me spending time in nature with my husband and dog or running along the Kitsilano Seawall. I grew up on Bowen Island, so being surrounded by trees is still an essential part of my weekly routine.

Dr. Zahra was born and raised in North Vancouver. She earned a Bachelors of Science with a double major in Biology and Medical Science at the University of Western Ontario while also playing varsity field hockey. After graduation, she returned to Vancouver where she nurtured her interest of older adults and strived towards a Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Gerontology at Simon Fraser University. Still hungry to learn more, she moved to funky-beautiful Portland, OR to concurrently undertake a Doctorate of Chiropractic and a Masters in Sports Medicine at the University of Western States. During her time in Portland, Zahra’s love for food and cooking blossomed. When not at the clinic, you will spot her frequenting and indulging at Vancouver’s many fine food establishments.
Zahra has direct, clinical experience assisting athletes on the sidelines of football games and at the finish lines of marathons. In doing so, she has enhanced her ability to improve patient recovery time, performance, and overall wellness. She loves working and problem solving with all populations including high school students, pregnant women, desk jockeys, weekend warriors and older adults.
Zahra truly believes that no patient is the same and no one, regardless of injury, should be afraid to move. In order for her to provide patient-centered care, she makes it a priority to regularly add to her tool box with a variety of certifications and continuing education courses, such as Active Release Technique, Rock Tape, McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis, Mulligan and Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization. She believes movement, soft-tissue techniques like ART, instrument-assisted and myofascial cupping are great tools in addition to chiropractic manipulation to promote recovery from injuries related to car accidents, daily life or sports. Her favourite part of being a Chiropractor is having the ability to get to know each patient, find out what drives them on a daily basis and empower them to accomplish their goals. Zahra is eager to help you get back to doing what you love (or need) to do!

A true Vancouverite, Patrick was born and raised on the North Shore and grew up playing a multitude of sports - hockey, rugby, basketball, track and field, you name it. This meant a fair amount of injuries and many hours working with physiotherapists to rehab and help get him back onto the playing field. This is where he gained a deep respect and interest in the Physiotherapy profession, and he felt compelled to pursue a career as a physiotherapist.
Patrick completed his undergraduate degree at UBC in Kinesiology and his Masters degree at London South Bank University in London, England. He has previously worked as a kinesiologist in private clinics, and supported patients with orthopaedic injuries and concussions.
Patrick is passionate about helping people optimize their physical fitness and physical activity goals so that they can spend more time doing what they love. He works with clients through an individualized approach to meet their goals, whether that is returning to the playing field, or returning to a weekend hobby. In session with Patrick, you can expect a combination of manual therapy, exercises and tools to help self manage and prevent future injuries.
Outside of the clinic, Patrick can be found biking around the city looking for new beer and food spots, trying to learn how to play tennis, and spending many hours in the kitchen trying new recipes.

I was drawn to speech-language pathology because communication is so closely connected to identity, confidence, and independence. I’m especially inspired by the brain’s capacity to adapt and recover, and by the meaningful relationships that develop through rehabilitation.
Supporting adults through neurological changes is at the core of my practice. I work with individuals navigating stroke, brain injury, Parkinson’s disease, and other neurological conditions that affect communication and cognition. I have a particular interest in cognitive-communication and aim to support clients in participating more confidently in daily life, work, and relationships.
I also work with individuals experiencing voice concerns, including those who rely on their voice professionally. Singing has been part of my life since childhood and continues to shape how I understand breath, vocal efficiency, and expression in therapy.
My approach is individualized, practical, and grounded in evidence-based care. I value building strong therapeutic relationships and taking the time to understand what matters most to each person. Therapy is collaborative and goal-oriented, with strategies designed to feel relevant and sustainable.
Originally from Italy, I now call BC home. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking with my dog, skiing, surfing, and spending as much time outdoors as possible.

My areas of interest include stress and anxiety management, work/life balance, life transitions (including career/education, pregnancy & postpartum, parenthood, perimenopause & menopause, retirement), post MVA anxiety (as a driver and/or passenger), and post-concussion mental health support. My practice is evidence-based and focused on achievable strategies, ideas, and coping skills that you can practice and integrate into your daily life. I strongly believe in client autonomy. I will give you the most accurate information available to help you understand what is going on with your mental health so you can make knowledgeable decisions about your care.
As a mental health care provider, I strive to give care that is respectful, dignified, well-designed, and tailored to the individual. In my experience, clear communication and good listening help build the therapeutic relationship – the bond between you and I that deepens every session – that leads to the best outcomes for clients. My sessions are calm, slow-paced, in a quiet room with dim lighting. There is time and space for your questions. My aim for every session is collaborative problem-solving, safety, education, and hope.

Matt has been practicing physiotherapy for nine years and continues to be inspired by the adaptability and resiliency of the human body. He uses an evidence-based and goal oriented treatment approach including education, exercise, manual therapy, dry needling (IMS) and coaching. He loves learning about his patient’s “life story” to better treat them as a person rather than an injury.
Matt’s physiotherapy journey began while studying at McGill University where he worked as a student therapist with the men’s varsity rugby and soccer teams. He went on to earn his MSc. Physiotherapy at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland. Since graduating, he has worked extensively with athletes, older adults and people living with chronic pain. Matt has also worked at the Lion’s Gate Hospital treating patients post-operatively for shoulder, hip and knee replacements.
Matt has taken numerous continuing education courses focussing on the assessment and treatment of the neck, low back and shoulder. To upskill his manual therapy practice, Matt completed an intensive 18-month certification program through Evidence in Motion in the US. He has further extended his scope to include the management of mTBI (concussion) and vestibular disorders.
Matt is an avid marathon runner who hopes to one day qualify for the Boston Marathon. In 2023 he suffered a foot injury playing soccer requiring multiple surgeries and time away from running. During his own rehab journey, Matt dedicated himself to becoming a “running nerd” by taking courses on running-related injuries and performance coaching. Matt loves treating runners because he understands the important role it can play in a person’s quality of life and wellbeing.
Outside of the clinic walls, Matt enjoys playing soccer and tennis, surfing, disc golfing, hiking and walking his part-time corgi named Leonard. He is also an avid bookworm and lover of historical fiction. Matt’s happy place is up at his cabin on Keats Island with friends and family.

My approach to care is grounded in evidence-informed practice, pain science, and a biopsychosocial perspective. I enjoy working collaboratively with people to create treatment plans that feel meaningful, manageable, and worthwhile. Growing up I played all sorts of sports: soccer, basketball, lacrosse, volleyball, badminton - even some table tennis. I had the good fortune of working with fantastic physiotherapists who supported me getting back to what I loved. Later on, when pondering what to do with my life, these experiences loomed large; I could now put my nerdiness to use helping people get back to doing the things they love: be it on a sports field or more generally in the field of life. I can honestly say I equally enjoy working with an athlete getting back to high performance competition as working with a grandmother wanting to lift her grandkids with less pain.
I enjoy pondering big questions in physiotherapy and am happiest when I am learning new things. I worked for 4 years as the Education Manager at the Physiotherapy Association of British Columbia - working with some of the smartest minds in physiotherapy for courses and conferences on physiotherapy best practice. You will regularly see me talking with other physiotherapists about how to best treat different conditions or better build a relationship with a patient. I also love teaching - be it mentoring clinicians in my role as Clinic Director in Vancouver or teaching “Learning Nights” for local physiotherapists. My clinical philosophy can be summed in the phrase “movement optimism” - I believe that our bodies are profoundly adaptable with the right treatment and support. A treatment session with me will often consist of manual therapy, education around what is likely causing the issue, and coaching through movement or exercise.
These days in my spare time I am loving discovering the world with my young daughter and wife, running in my hometown of Richmond (it’s nice and flat!) and competing in trivia nights and board games with friends.

From a young age Ingrid has been very active and enjoyed doing different kinds of sport and understands how injuries could impact the ability for one to continue with their exercises. Outside of the clinic she loves spending time with her friends playing tennis and finding good food in town. She also loves traveling to different countries and learning about local cultures and languages. Ingrid is also fluent in Cantonese, Japanese, and Mandarin.

Lynita White
(She/Her/Hers)
BAH, MSc, MPT
Lynita discovered her passion for rehabilitation and physiotherapy after a sports injury of her own. During her third year studying psychology at Queen’s University, she tore her ACL. After months of excellent physiotherapist-guided rehabilitation, she was able to come back to sport, and returned to play in Canada’s National Ringette League (NRL). It was then that she decided to pursue a Masters in Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of British Columbia (UBC), and help others along a similar path to recovery.
While at UBC and Vancouver Coastal Health, Lynita collaborated on projects dealing with various subjects: tendon healing, chronic pain, and patient education. Her work was published in peer-reviewed academic journals for many of these topics.
After years of studying and working in rehabilitation research, Lynita decided she wanted to work directly with the people that her research was meant to help. She made a change; and so began her second Masters program. This time in Physical Therapy at UBC.
Through her studies and years of experience as a PT, Lynita has gained an extensive and impressive skill set with a wide range of clients; she’s taken a special interest in sport-related injuries, post-operative rehab, concussion, chronic pain, and geriatric rehabilitation. Lynita continues to stay up-to-date on the latest clinical research in order to provide her clients with the best possible care.
An athlete all her life, Lynita has competed in ringette from club to international level, and has coached elite teams across the Lower Mainland. She has experience providing on-field coverage as a Sports First Responder for ringette, basketball, hockey, volleyball, and rugby. While Lynita has ample experience working with athletes, she loves working with people of all abilities and experience; her treatment approach is heavily rooted in both education and functional exercise, which she combines with manual therapy and IMS (intramuscular stimulation).
On the weekends, you’ll still find Lynita at an ice rink, proudly representing British Columbia in the NRL. During the off-season, she’ll likely be making her way up a North Shore mountain, spending time amongst the tall trees in the forests she grew up exploring.
Lynita is looking forward to meeting you, and helping you reach your own goals!
